AARON LOHR
Aaron Christopher Lohr Jr., a native from California, began his career at a very young age. The middle child of three children, he began dancing at the age of three, and by the time he reached five, began auditioning for music videos directed by Kenny Ortega. Kenny accepted Aaron’s auditions, and he appeared in three videos that Kenny directed. He appeared videos for Pia Zadora, George Benson and Denise Williams. He later won a Youth Film award for his appearance in “Let’s hear it for the Boys,” Denise Williams’ video. At the age of six, he began a career in acting by appearing in pre-Broadway musical Chaplin, a biography of Charlie Chaplin. Aaron portrayed the role of his son, Christopher. This later led to him starring in commercials and TV shows while attending a private Catholic school.
Absolutely Aaron!

He attended Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, during which he also reunited with Kenny Ortega. As it turns out, Kenny was now directing a full-length musical, and gave Aaron the role of Mush in his movie, Newsies. He also helped host the "Making of Newsies" featurette and appeared in the drug warning before the movie. Afterward, Aaron was cast in D2: the Mighty Ducks as “Bash brother” Dean Portman. He later returned to reprise the same role in the third establishment of the Mighty Ducks trilogy. He also danced in late Tejano singer Selena's "Techno Cumbia" music video.
Somewhere around this time, Aaron formed a band known as RC Cru (now known as The Cru). They appeared in a music video entitled: “Yakkity Yak, Take it Back,” but not much else is known. He can also be heard on the soundtrack to A Goofy Movie, in which he provided the singing voice for Max. It was after D3 that Aaron began concentrating on his education and attended UCLA.
Since graduating in early 2000, he has been appearing in TV shows, and appeared as Micky Dolenz in Daydream Believers: The Monkees Story. During the filming on the Monkees movie, the castmembers had to put on an actual live concert for the filming. Aaron got a little carried away with his solo and began leaping around onstage and ended up ripping his pants wide open! He performed at the 2001 Golden Globe Awards, and appeared in a Lexus commercial. He then took on theater when he took part in “Selena: A Musical Celebration of Life,” a biography/musical presentation in tribute to the Tejano singer, Selena. Aaron portrayed her husband, Chris Perez.
Aaron was seen in a commercial for Verizon Wireless while taking on a career in theater. He has appeared in Corpus Christi, The Full Monty, Radiant Baby, and is now part of the musical Bare.
