MATTHEW FIELDS
Matthew Schoenfeld, born in Newport Beach, California, got started with his career at his dance studio. Eventually, he was told about auditions for the movie Newsies, where he tried out for the role of Crutchy. Though he missed out on the role, he landed the role of the tobacco-addicted newsboy Snipeshooter. After Newsies, he made appearances in commercials for Golden Grahams and Reese’s Pieces Peanut Butter Puffs cereals. In 1998, he graduated from UCSB with a degree in film studies.

Matthew has recently shown up to the Hollywood scene again, after studying sound production at the Los Angeles Recording Workshop. He operated the boom in the sound management for the films The Vest and Rouges, and does sound engineering at LA clubs.
He is working sound production for feature films and proposed to the director of a traveling documentary they were working on together back in 2000. He recently designed the sound for the BMW commercial titled “Powder Keg” and a Pepsi ad titled “Looping,” and did the special lighting effects for the film, Pacino is Missing. Matt does sound engineering at the Ear to Ear Music House in Santa Monica, and did the sound for the films Paper, Rock, Scissors and Behind the Band with TJ and the Hookers: The Rebecca Manning Story.
