ROBERT FEENEY

Robert in Weird Science
Birthdate: August 9, 1970


Robert Feeney was born at French Hospital in San Fransicso and is the second in a line of five children. At first, Robbie was known for his speed and running, but soon discovered he had another talent: dancing. At the age of twelve, he joined the Junior Theater in San Diego. Here, he began acting, dancing and singing. He starred in productions of The Toad of Toad Hall, Jack and the Bean Stalk, The Boyfriend, The Music Man and Fame.

Robbie later attended La Jolla High School, where he continued acting. He appeared in the plays The Curious Savage, Snoopy and Flowers for Algernon. During and after high school, he began acting at Starlight Theater in San Diego, where he appeared in Grease, Anything Goes and Follies. He had also joined two performance groups: The American Ballet Foundation With Lynda Yourth: Designs in Dance: an American Perspective and Dance and Vocal Performances with Showstoppers Dance Company.

In 1987, he graduated from high school where he performed his own version of The Star-Spangled Banner. His performance was said to be unique yet very creative. In 1988, he took home 1st place as superior Musical Scene Award SDCSSAL Scene Tournament for direction, chroeography and his performance in Pippin. In the same year, he won the Bank of America Achievement Award in the field of music and drama. Later, for a year and a half, he performed at Lotto World in Korea!

He later attended UC Irvine, but dropped out after one year. He filmed an episode of the show Teech in 1991, but the episode never aired due to early cancellation. In 1992, he landed the role of Snoddy in the movie Newsies. Two years later, he took a lead role in the movie Beach House, one that has yet to be seen. In the same year, he appeared on the series premire of Weird Science titled “She’s alive!”

Robert is currently residing in San Diego, CA. He recently finished working on a film set to be released in 2003. More information posted when it's available.
